This Privacy Policy explains how DSONIX Technology ("DSONIX", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores and deletes personal data when you visit www.dsonix.com (the "Website") or contact us through it. It is written to meet the requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it (the "DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
In short: the Website is an information site. It has no user accounts, no payments, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We only receive personal data that you choose to send us, and we use it only to reply to you.

For the personal data described in this policy, DSONIX Technology is the Data Fiduciary (the party that decides why and how your personal data is processed). You, the person the data is about, are the Data Principal.

2. Scope
This policy covers only the Website and enquiries or job applications sent to us through it or by email, phone or WhatsApp. It does not cover:
- our products SHUTL, 4 Moves and Edu-Bridge, which have their own privacy policies on their own websites;
- personal data we handle while delivering services to a client, which is governed by our written agreement with that client; or
- third-party websites and apps we link to (such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, GitHub or X/Twitter), which have their own policies.
3. Personal Data We Collect
We collect only the following:

We do not use analytics tools, advertising or tracking cookies, tracking pixels or social-media plug-ins, and we do not build profiles of visitors. The only item stored in your browser is your cookie-banner choice; see our Cookie Policy.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as passwords, bank, card or other financial details, health or medical information, biometric data, or government ID numbers) through the Website, email or WhatsApp. We do not need it to reply to you. If you send it anyway, we will delete what we do not need.
4. Why We Use It and Our Lawful Basis

We will not use your data for any other purpose, add you to a marketing or newsletter list, or send you promotional messages unless you have separately asked us to. We do not use your data for automated decision-making.
5. Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers (Data Processors) we need to run the Website and our email, who process it on our behalf:
- Web3Forms (privacy policy) — receives the contents of the contact form and forwards them to our email inbox.
- Our web hosting provider (shared hosting in India) — hosts the Website and keeps its server logs.
- Our email service provider — stores the emails, form notifications and CVs we receive in our mailbox.
- Google Fonts (Google LLC, privacy policy) — the Website loads its fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so your browser sends Google your IP address and basic browser details when a page loads. We do not send Google any other data.
If you tap the WhatsApp button, you leave the Website and your conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta). Their privacy policy applies to that service; we receive only the messages you send us.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our legal rights. If our business is reorganised, merged or transferred, personal data may pass to the successor, which will remain bound by this policy.
6. Transfers Outside India
Web3Forms and Google may process data on servers located outside India. The DPDP Act permits such transfers except to countries restricted by the Government of India, and we will not transfer data to any restricted country. We choose providers that state they protect data with reasonable security measures.
7. How Long We Keep It

We may keep data longer only where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, and then only for as long as necessary. We may delete data earlier once its purpose has been served.
8. How We Protect It
We use reasonable security practices and procedures appropriate to the small amount and low sensitivity of the data we hold, including:
- HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all traffic to and from the Website and the contact form;
- no database of visitor data on the Website itself;
- access to our mailbox limited to authorised DSONIX personnel who need it, protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available;
- using reputable service providers and deleting data when the retention periods above end.
No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will act promptly to contain it and will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of India where the law requires.
9. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access information — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and the parties we have shared it with;
- Correction and updating — ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it to comply with law;
- Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 10);
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see Section 12); and
- Nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable.
To use any of these rights, email info@dsonix.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you want us to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example by replying from the email address you used) before acting. We will respond as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days. There is no charge.
The DPDP Act also expects Data Principals not to provide false information, impersonate anyone, or file false or frivolous complaints.
10. Withdrawing Consent
You can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it, by emailing info@dsonix.com. We will then stop using your data and delete it within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawal does not affect anything we lawfully did before it, and if you withdraw consent for an open enquiry or application we may not be able to continue it.
11. Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 18, please do not send us your personal data; a parent or lawful guardian may contact us on your behalf. If we learn that we have received a child's data without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

13. Complaints to the Data Protection Board of India
If you are not satisfied with our response, or we do not respond within 30 days, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India constituted under the DPDP Act. The Act requires you to use our grievance redressal process first.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and it applies from that date. If a change materially affects how we use personal data we already hold, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires.
